The Arabic Language Institute for Non-Native Speakers has grown from a single classroom into a multi-branch institute, guided by one belief: that anyone can learn Arabic with the right structure and the right teachers.
Our Story
A gap in East Africa.
We filled it.
When we started teaching Arabic in Nairobi, we noticed that every resource available (textbooks, online courses, community classes) was either designed for native-speaker children, or for students already living in the Arab world. There was nothing structured, progressive, and built specifically for non-native speakers in East Africa.
So we created a structure. A three-level curriculum with clear outcomes at each stage, classes small enough for real instructor interaction, and branches close enough to our students' daily lives that coming to class is practical and not just something they hope to do one day. The gap we set out to fill is becoming, slowly, a community and that is what keeps us going.

Teaching Philosophy
Arabic the way it is actually used.
Grammar and vocabulary anchored in real conversation, not memorized in isolation. Each of our three levels blends four subjects (language skills, grammar, speaking, and practice) so students are reading, writing, listening, and speaking from the very first week.
Classes stay small enough that instructors correct pronunciation and usage in real time. Assessment is continuous throughout each level rather than a single high-stakes exam at the end because we care more about how much Arabic you leave with than what you score on one day.

Our four-level curriculum is benchmarked against the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, spanning A1 through C2 equivalencies.

Graduates receive an institute-issued certificate upon completion, stating final grade and total study hours.
